Digital Bridges 4 Nepal (DB4N) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to bridging the vast educational and technological divide in remote and underserved communities across Nepal. Our mission is to strengthen communities through education by equipping public schools in Nepal with innovative teaching methodologies and modern technology. Our vision is to provide Nepali students and communities with knowledge, skills, and opportunities to prosper so that they remain and evolve in Nepal. We have impacted over 800 students to date, across 7 schools. We rely on the generosity of donors and the dedication of volunteers to support our mission.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Fundraising Coordinator Intern to support our efforts in raising funds and increasing awareness for our mission. This role is ideal for students or early-career professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, and event planning. The intern will work closely with the fundraising team to research potential donors, assist in grant writing, coordinate fundraising campaigns, and engage with supporters. We are also interested in developing the Fundraising Coordinator Internship into a further, long-term professional opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and identify potential funding opportunities, including grants, corporate sponsors, and individual donors.

Support donor engagement strategies, including email outreach and follow-ups.

Assist in writing grant proposals, sponsorship letters, and donor communications, and fundraising materials.

Help manage donor databases and track fundraising progress.

Create and schedule fundraising-related content for social media, newsletters, and email campaigns.

Assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of fundraising campaigns and events.

Collaborate with DB4N team to develop promotional content for fundraising initiatives.

Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings and preparing reports.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have recently completed (or be in their final year of) a degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational and research skills with attention to detail.

Passion for community development, education, and nonprofit fundraising.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience with social media, email marketing is a plus.

Prior experience in fundraising, grant writing, or event planning is desirable
