Role Fondraising
The Fundraising & Partnerships Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in Belgrade.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, campaigns, and events to secure financial support for the Foundation’s programs and humanitarian initiatives.
The role requires an individual who is proactive, highly motivated, communicative, and capable of independently developing relationships with donors, companies, sponsors, foundations, and other potential partners.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing fundraising strategies and campaigns.
Identifying, approaching, and building long-term relationships with individual donors, companies, sponsors, foundations, and institutional partners.
Actively securing donations, sponsorships, grants, and other forms of financial support.
Preparing fundraising proposals, sponsorship packages, presentations, and donor communications.
Organizing and coordinating fundraising events and campaigns.
Maintaining and expanding the Foundation’s donor and partner network.
Managing donor relationships and ensuring professional and timely communication.
Maintaining accurate donor records and preparing fundraising reports.
Collaborating with the Foundation’s program, communications, and management teams.
Identifying new fundraising opportunities and potential strategic partnerships.
Monitoring fundraising results and developing recommendations to improve future campaigns.
Representing Fondacija Humanist professionally in meetings with donors, sponsors, partners, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
Proven experience in fundraising, business development, partnerships, sales, sponsorships, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to identify and secure donors, sponsors, partners, or other sources of financial support.
Strong skills in donor relationship management, partnership development, and stakeholder engagement.
Experience in fundraising campaign planning, event coordination, and strategy implementation.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to prepare clear proposals, reports, sponsorship packages, and presentations.
Excellent written and spoken English and Serbian.
Strong organizational, time-management, and project-management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and achieve measurable results.
Demonstrated commitment to humanitarian values, social responsibility, community support, and social justice.
Prior experience in fundraising, NGO work, nonprofit organizations, corporate partnerships, or sponsorship development is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Marketing, Communications, Management) or equivalent practical experience.
Comfortable working on-site in Belgrade and collaborating within a diverse, inclusive, and non-discriminatory team environment.
