The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining and restoring floors, operating industrial floor care equipment, and ensuring cleanliness in assigned areas.
Key duties include
- performing hard floor procedures such as stripping, refinishing, burnishing, and buffing
- carpet and upholstery cleaning, including shampooing and spot cleaning
- waste management and disinfection of trash and recyclable materials
- adhering to safety, sanitation, and infection control standards, and wearing PPE
- providing excellent customer service with a friendly attitude
- removing trash and maintaining cleanliness of work areas
- operating equipment safely and efficiently
Qualifications include prior experience as a floor care technician or related role, knowledge of floor care equipment, and ability to communicate effectively in writing and perform basic math.
This role may involve physical activity such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing, with the requirement to wear uniforms and PPE.
