Our client is seeking a Finance Manager to lead accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and administrative operations. This role will serve as a key member of the leadership team, providing financial guidance and ensuring the organization's fiscal integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting functions, including AP, AR, payroll, cash management, and general ledger activity.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all applicable federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate audits, tax filings, and annual reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain internal controls, financial processes, and administrative procedures.
- Supervise accounting and administrative staff, providing coaching and performance management.
- Partner with leadership on strategic planning, financial decision-making, and operational improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Experience with audits, payroll, and regulatory filings.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and accounting software skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Nonprofit accounting experience preferred.
