Position: South Finance Director

The South Finance Director oversees major donor fundraising efforts across multiple states including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. The role involves creating and implementing a regional finance plan, supporting principal and surrogate travel, and maintaining relationships with top donors.
This position is based in Washington, DC, reporting to the National Finance Director.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute regional fundraising travel and events
• Develop a comprehensive finance cycle plan to meet and exceed goals
• Manage donor stewardship within the donor portfolio
• Research prospective supporters
• Oversee daily operations of the South team
• Organize regular programming including calls, events, and meetings
• Communicate regularly with National Finance Committee members and donors
• Perform additional duties to support the department and mission
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years in political fundraising
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Management experience preferred
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Suite
• Knowledge of NGP database
• Experience in campaign fundraising cycles
• Event management experience
• Ability to work in a
fast-paced environment
• Some travel required

The salary is $120,000 annually, with benefits and the possibility of work on weekends. The role involves up to 15% travel and is open to U.S. citizens or green card holders.
