Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Family Support Specialist based in Tucson, AZ. The Family Support Specialist will provide case management services, engage with families to assess needs, and connect them with resources within the community. Key responsibilities include coordinating services, conducting home visits, facilitating community outreach, and developing support plans tailored to family needs. The role serves as a critical resource in assisting families to achieve stability, resilience, and positive outcomes.
Qualifications
- Background in Social Work and Social Services to offer comprehensive support and guidance to families.
- Experience in Family Services and Case Management, with a focus on creating and implementing individualized family plans.
- Skills in Community Outreach to build relationships and connect families with local resources and support networks.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in non-profit or community-based organizations is beneficial.
