Firefly Children & Family Alliance is hiring a Family Preservation Coordinator to serve Hancock, Hamilton, Tipton, and Madison counties. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day functions of the program by coordinating and managing program functions and processes, as well as community outreach to educate, promote, and market the program. This position is responsible for providing observation and consultation across the region per service delivery.
It will also carry a small preservation/IFC caseload (3-4 cases). This position reports to the Director and requires collaboration on an ongoing basis.
You Will Program Administration (50%)
Develop relationships with program staff, community stakeholders, and youth/families.
Provide oversight for Families First programming & rollout as applicable (includes, but not limited to: case supervision, shadowing, fidelity adherence).
Skillfully deliver programming to youth/families and community.
Coordinate and refer services as necessary, both internally and externally.
Quickly initiate all aspects of the program from the big picture to the day-to-day details.
Accurately complete data entry, collection, and analysis on outcomes in order to furnish appropriate reports to achieve funding assistance.
Direct Client Work (30%)
Create goals for each family on caseload & update treatment planning.
Coach collaboratively – maintaining a balance between teaching and serving.
Visit each family on a routine and ‘pop in’ schedule.
Attend court with clients and render recommendations.
Community Engagement
and Outreach (20%)
Motivate and collaborate with various community entities in order to complete and support program initiatives.
Effectively train staff and contractors within the program.
You Have
Bachelor’s Degree in social work or related field required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook); able to acquire knowledge and mastery of internal proprietary database and systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills, including ability to multi-task.
Ability to complete assignments with a high level of accuracy, and understand day-to-day detail as well as broader strategic initiatives.
Ability to work with a team when applicable.
Valid driver’s license with valid insurance.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
