Family Ministry Summer Intern Jobs in Angleton, USA at Southern Baptists of Texas Convention
The Summer Family Ministry Intern at Second Baptist Church, Angleton will serve as an integral part of our ministry team during the peak summer season. This role is designed for a relational man who has felt the call to pastoral ministry and is looking to gain “in-the-trenches” experience in student and family ministry. He will help execute our summer strategy to equip families, lead student events, and foster a welcoming environment for the next generation.
Based upon a variety of factors, this position has the potential to become a permanent, part-time position.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Ministry, or a related field.
- Experience:
Previous experience volunteering in youth or children’s ministry is highly valued.
- Skills:
Relatable and outgoing personality with the ability to engage students.
- Basic proficiency in social media and digital communication tools.
- Solid biblical foundation and ability to share the Gospel clearly.
- Personal Qualities: A discernible call to pastoral or family ministry; A “team player” attitude with a willingness to serve behind the scenes; A consistent, growing, and humble walk with Jesus Christ.
