Description
The Family Engagement Manager supports the Director in the overall management, operations, and growth of the Learning Community Center of South Omaha (LCCSO) with responsibilities such as policy & procedure development, tracking achievement of program outcomes, and building/maintaining an effective team of navigators/home visitors.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
Two or more years of project management or people management required, preferably in a nonprofit or educational environment.
Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
Proficiency in both English and Spanish required.
Demonstrated ability to create and maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
Demonstrated ability to develop creative and interactive lesson plans and to present information in group settings.
Demonstrated ability to set priorities for accomplishing assigned work, implement action plans, and meet deadlines.
Must possess high attention to details, organizational skills, and record-keeping skills.
Demonstrated commitment to cultural respect and understanding and value of diversity.
Ability and willingness to work occasional weekday evenings.
Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and clean driving record required. Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) also required
