Role Description

This position can be full or part time, on-site in Evansville, IN. The Facilities Manager will oversee campus maintenance and ensure that the organization’s buildings and grounds are safe, functional, and well-maintained. Responsibilities include coordinating repairs, managing maintenance/inspection schedules, supervising vendors and contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role involves overseeing campus inspections and emergency repairs when necessary, contributing to the mission of UMYH by creating a safe and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Degree required
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Possess a valid driver's license with clean record.
  • Facilities management experience, including maintenance, repairs, and property upkeep
  • Strong organizational skills to manage maintenance schedules and track inventory
  • Knowledge of safety codes, regulations, and compliance standards
  • Experience in vendor management.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work on-site and respond to emergencies promptly
  • Experience with various lawn equipment and tools
  • Proficiency in basic computer software, such as Microsoft Office
