Seasonal Stewardship Assistant
Working outdoors with your hands. Helping nurture and care for wild places along the northern Oregon Coast. Enhancing habitat for plants and wildlife. If these types of tasks intrigue you, consider applying for our seasonal Stewardship Assistant position! In this six-month fulltime role, you’ll help with stewarding and monitoring our habitat reserves on the coast. We’re looking for someone who thrives in an independent yet collaborative team environment.
Additionally, the successful stewardship assistant is comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather, adept at working with staff, volunteers, and work crews, and a positive and motivated team member who enjoys engaging with volunteers and working in our coastal habitats.

Tidepool Ambassador Program (TAP) Guide
North Coast Land Conservancy’s Tidepool Ambassador Program (TAP) connects the community to precious intertidal rocky habitats on the Oregon Coast through education and outreach. We are looking for a TAP Guide who is passionate about marine conservation and stewardship. An engaging environmental interpreter, the TAP Guide should be eager to educate beach goers about wildlife found in the tidepools. They also should have a strong understanding of the ecology of the rocky intertidal habitat, the ability to work a variable schedule, comfort working outdoors in all kinds of weather, and the spirit of a team player.
