BHI is a global health nonprofit that designs, builds, equips, and manages sustainable healthcare infrastructure across low-resource settings. An experienced staff of architecture, engineering, and construction experts are dedicated to providing high-quality, dignified, and accessible health care infrastructure to the most vulnerable communities incollaborationwith our government and local nonprofit partners. BHI’s partnership network includes high-impact healthcare partners on the ground as well as the Global Fund, WHO, the Gates Foundation, and many others.

The External Relations Coordinator will collaborate and engage with adiverseset of internal and external organizational stakeholders to promote global health initiatives and showcase the impact of BHI’s projects and goals. This is anexcitingopportunity to take part in the growth of BHI’s partnership development, operations, communications, and fundraising with exposure across many projects and partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and draft proposals for new partnership development which includes donor engagement materials, updates, proposals, fundraising campaigns, and other correspondence.

Support and co-create proposal development processes through the drafting and organization of proposal collateral materials and coordination between internal BHI teams.

Maintain and update organization documents and files, ensuring accuracy and validity of information including but not limited to recruiting, donor management records, projects, scheduling and contact lists.

Assist in preparing internal meetings and trainings along with scheduling and coordinating meetings via Zoom and Google Meet.

Support the HR Specialist/Office Manager with onboarding, scheduling, interviews, selected correspondence and other requests, maintaining confidentiality of BHI’s personnel and related information.

Collaborate on grants management, funder relationship management, reporting, financial reports, and implementation as needed.

Partner with the communications team to support internal and external initiatives including website content, engagement materials, and project summaries.

Provide miscellaneous global health project support as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 1-3 years of nonprofit, public health, international development, or administration experience required.

Interest in or willingness to learn about global health and how it relates to architecture, engineering, and construction.

Strong research, writing, and oralcommunication skills.

Ability to communicate influentially to attain buy-in and support for Build Health International’s global impact.

Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and successful collaborations on an internal and external level.

Willingness to balance both independent andcollaborative workin afast-paced,dynamic environment.

Strongattention to detailand creativity.

High level of integrity and work ethic.
