Executive/Senior Executive, Outreach & Advocacy Jobs in Singapore, Singapore at Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF)
You will play a crucial role in:advocating the need for learning
life-saving
skillsenhancing accessibility to
life-saving
skillspromoting and availing automated external defibrillator (AEDs) to the public
Supporting cardiac survivors and their caregivers by providing resources and organising gatherings
Your responsibilities will include developing and executing marketing and
communication
strategies to promote initiatives and events under the Resuscitation pillar. Additionally, you will promote the installation of AEDs through methods like loaning, sponsoring and selling. You will also assist the Senior Supervisor – Senior Assistant Manager in reaching out and liaising with external organisations and public agencies to advocate and provide lifesaving skills to them.
You will ensure that SHF’s programs successfully promote public awareness and widen access to essential
life-saving
skills, including CPR and AED usage. A strong grasp of marketing and communications concepts is required, along with the ability to engage effectively with key stakeholders from external organisations and public agencies.
Responsibilities:
Marketing and Communications:
Develop and implement marketing and
communication
strategies to promote Heart Safe programmes, events and initiatives
Create and manage content for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with SHF’s branding and objectives
Generate
innovative
ideas for increased awareness and engagement with programmes and events
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the events or campaign, identifying areas for improvement
Coordinate and contribute to publications, including the SHF Annual report, quarterly heartline publication’s write up, stories and other related content
Advocacy
and Outreach:
Advocate for the importance of lifesaving skills to organisations and the communities
Promote the deployment of AEDs to increase accessibility in public spaces, workplaces and buildings through sales of AEDs and other related initiatives
Promote lifesaving skills by encouraging the deployment of CPR Kiosks in public spaces, workplaces and community areas
Engage communities through events, campaigns, and other activities to raise awareness of lifesaving skills
Event and Initiative Management:
Plan, organise and support outreach programmes and initiatives to meet the team’s and organisation’s objectives
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to organise or participate in the outreach events
Other administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties in support of Singapore Heart Foundation and/or Heart Safe’s work in the resuscitation space as assigned.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in any field1 to 2 years of experience in the related field or industry preferred but fresh graduates with relevant skills are welcome to apply
Strong written and verbal
communication skills
Familiarity with social media management and content creation
Experience in event organizing, planning and coordinating
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
Resourceful, flexible, and responsive in dealing with people
