The role demands a strong understanding of the diverse needs of urban and rural members, bolstering UBCM’s mission as a trusted governmental advocate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic advice to the President and Executive Committee

• Oversee implementation of UBCM’s annual work program

• Advance member benefit programs and funding initiatives

• Foster stakeholder relationships across British Columbia

• Lead communications and policy development efforts

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in executive roles within government or associations

• Proven success in a non-partisan operational environment

• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
