SUMMARY:Responsible for all aspects of a long-range plan for the Fund Development Program while directing and working with the foundation staff to create, maintain, and increase the annual giving programs. Develop and implement an effective Volunteer Program while expanding acquisition programs that positively impact family and community giving, corporate giving, and employee giving. Ensures campaign readiness for significant capital campaigns while continuing major gift initiatives, grant acquisition, and estate/planned giving.

Works with the Board of Foundation trustees and Executive staff to create policies and procedures for the expansion of the Endowment Portfolio.

EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE:Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university required, Master’s Degree preferred. Familiarity and experience working with affinity groups, preferably with Masons or Eastern Star organizations. Seven years’ experience working primarily in planned development cultivation and solicitation, with demonstrated experience in planned giving and securing major philanthropic gifts.
