The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a dynamic professional to provide visionary leadership with a focus on Literacy & Out-of-School-time (OST) programs as the Executive Director of Enriching Learning. This position raises funds, expands partnerships and grows programs while utilizing exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to engage staff, members, donors, and the local community while building and supporting a high-performing team.
Responsibilities:
Provide visionary leadership for Literacy & OST programs.
Raise funds and expand partnerships.
Grow programs and engage the community.
Build and support a high-performing team.
Qualifications:
Strong leadership, strategic planning, and financial management skills.
Expertise in organizational development and stakeholder engagement.
Knowledge of industry trends, advocacy, and team management.
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
At least five years of community outreach experience.
Proficiency in Windows-based software such as Daxko, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Strong organizational, relationship-building, and communication skills.
Supervisory, administrative, and financial management abilities.
Some evening and weekend work is required to oversee programs.
