Executive Director Fellowship
Momentum Health Development Corporation is seeking an innovative and motivated
Executive Director Fellow to support our clinical services’ strategic development and operational expansion in Washington, DC. This fellowship is a 6-12 month commitment with compensation based on a tenure agreement. Upon successful completion, the Fellow may be offered a long-term leadership position within the organization.
The Executive Director Fellow will be responsible for overseeing three core areas of operations:
• 33% Development – Lead initiatives to secure funding, build partnerships, and drive organizational growth.
• 33% Clinic Operations – Manage the daily functions of the emerging clinic, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• 33% Client Experience & Technology – Enhance patient care and engagement through digital solutions and innovative service delivery models.
This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit leadership, healthcare management, and strategic planning within a mission-driven organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Development & Fundraising:
• Identify funding opportunities and develop grant proposals.
• Build relationships with donors, community partners, and stakeholders.
• Lead marketing and outreach efforts to expand organizational visibility.
• Clinic Operations & Management:
• Oversee daily operations to ensure high-quality patient care and service
delivery.
• Implement policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Support hiring, training, and development of clinic staff.
• Client Experience & Technology Integration:
• Enhance patient engagement through innovative digital platforms.
• Analyze patient feedback and implement improvements in service delivery.
• Utilize technology to streamline clinic operations and improve accessibility.
Minimum Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred (or in pursuit of a higher degree) in business
administration, healthcare management, nonprofit leadership, or a related field.
• Experience in business development, healthcare, marketing, or nonprofit
management is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting ideas
effectively.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Canva, AdobePro), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint), and basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and email design is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in digital design, online media, or social marketing.
• Familiarity with fundraising, grant writing, and community engagement.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-
paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits
• Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on tenure agreement).
