About us:
National Angels is a compilation of non-profit chapters across the country on a mission to change the way children, youth, and families experience foster care. We do this through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship.
Our high-impact,results-drivenmodel has expanded to a network of 19 chapters spanning 14 states, including Nashville Angels. The radical support delivered by our programs aims to change the statistics plaguing the child welfare system and positively impact society as a whole. Our network of chapters represents a sustainable solution to one of the country’s toughest social issues.
There are approximately 400,000 children and youth experiencing foster care in our country – and our goal is to reach and serve every single one through our transformational programs by 2050.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The main role of the Executive Director is a leader responsible for overseeing all operations, providing day-to-day oversight of the organization and staff in line with strategic goals and our business and work plans, including fundraising and development. This role reports to the Nashville Angels Board of Directors, with oversight from National Angels.
Leadership:
Hold, promote, and quality-manage the organizational ethos, values, and culture
Develop theleadershipcapacities of staff and volunteers
Hold the organization accountable to regularly updated strategic, business, and work plans, including creation of an annual strategic plan and budget
Deliver recommendations for improvement that guide the organization through phases of growth and enable long-term stability and success
Enhance partnerships and reputation by being active and visible in the community, working closely with other professional, civic, and youth development organizations
Establish and maintain relationships with local organizations and utilize those relationships to strategically enhance the Nashville Angels mission
