Kimochi, Inc. Undertakes Executive Director Search
Kimochi, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Executive Director to lead our community non-profit that provides support to Bay Area seniors. After 10 years of heartfelt, executive leadership service to Kimochi, our current Executive Director is stepping back to devote more time to family — but will remain onboard as the Operations Director. He will provide support and guidance to a new Executive Director as he/she gets established in this management role.
Kimochi, Inc. is nationally recognized for the support it has provided Bay Area seniors and their family caregivers, regardless of ethnicity, since 1971. Helping seniors live with dignity and independence for as long as possible has been at the foundation of our services: weekday dine-in and home delivered meals, active aging programs, transportation services, information and referral services provided through our social workers. Kimochi also operates two assisted living facilities located in San Francisco and San Mateo.
Kimochi seeks an executive leader with solid experience in a leadership and management role, preferably in a similar senior service organization or non-profit agency supporting senior citizens. The Executive Director is responsible for implementing Kimochi’s mission, leading strategic planning and fund development as well as overseeing administration, finances, program innovation and advocacy.
