Silver Sobriety, Inc. is a nonprofit dedicated to helping older adults recover from substance use disorders through tailored programs, peer support, and community resources. The Executive Director will be responsible for leading the organization’s growth, managing day-to-day operations, and driving fundraising initiatives. This role requires a visionary leader who can strengthen partnerships, expand financial resources, and advocate for Silver Sobriety’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership to ensure financial sustainability and program growth.
Develop and implement client acquisition strategies, including direct contact with influencers, social media strategies, print and web-based advertising, and more.
Responsible for securing revenue, managing expenses, and managing cash flow. Build relationships with community partners, recovery networks, and stakeholders. Fundraising.
Serve as the public face of the organization, representing Silver Sobriety at conferences, fundraising events, and media engagements.
Supervise and support staff, fostering a collaborative and mission-driven workplace culture. Manage volunteers.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in nonprofit leadership, operations, or development.
Proven success in securing grants, sponsorships, and individual donations.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage operations, budgets, and teams.
Passion for supporting older adults in recovery.
Excellent public speaking, networking, and donor engagement skills.
Licensed alcohol and drug counselor, or equivalent, a definite plus.
Experience in program development and community engagement is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $24,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
