About Osprey Village

Osprey Village is a nonprofit organization creating an inclusive residential community for adults with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD). Our mission is to provide housing, support, social connection, and opportunities that allow residents to live with dignity, independence, and purpose.

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and mission-driven Executive Director to lead Osprey Village through its next phase of growth and long-term success.

Position Summary

The Executive Director is responsible for the leadership, daily operations, and long-term growth of the organization and community. This individual will work closely with the Board of Directors, families, donors, staff, and community partners to ensure a safe, welcoming, and thriving environment for residents.

This position requires a strategic and hands-on leader who can balance operational excellence, team leadership, and compassionate community engagement while also helping drive fundraising and long-term sustainability for the organization.

Leadership & Operations

• Lead and execute the vision and strategic direction of Osprey Village

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the community and organization

• Recruit, manage, and support staff while fostering a collaborative, mission-driven culture

• Ensure a safe, supportive, and well-maintained environment for residents

• Oversee operational systems, budgets, compliance, vendor relationships, and staffing plans

• Partner with the Board of Directors on organizational priorities and long-term planning

• Develop and implement policies and procedures that support organizational effectiveness and resident well-being

• Monitor organizational performance metrics and provide regular updates to the Board on progress and strategic initiatives

Fundraising & Development

• Help lead fundraising initiatives including donor relations, grants, sponsorships, and community events

• Cultivate relationships with donors, foundations, and community partners

• Assist in strengthening long-term financial sustainability and organizational growth

• Help expand awareness and support for the mission of Osprey Village

Community Engagement & Resident Experience

• Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and community stakeholders

• Support resident programming, community engagement, and employment partnerships

• Promote a culture of inclusion, connection, and dignity throughout Osprey Village

• Serve as the primary ambassador for the organization within the community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 7+ years of leadership or operational management experience in nonprofit management, healthcare, disability services, senior living, education, residential communities, or related fields • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills

• Experience managing teams, operations, and budgets

• Fundraising or donor relations experience preferred

• Passion for serving adults with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities

Compensation

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. We will offer relocation.
