The successful candidate must be a dynamic leader with a passion for vocal music education.
Responsible for the successful leadership, management, and day-to-day operations of the organization, reflecting the strategic direction established by the Board of Directors.
Possess knowledge of federal legislation applicable to nonprofit organizations, including employment standards, taxation, human rights, and occupational health and safety.
Provide creative and innovative direction for events, activities, and programming. Have strong financial acumen, event planning experience, and the ability to inspire and support a hierarchical system of volunteerism within the organization.
Demonstrate passion for community engagement and advocacy for the arts, including service in and membership of organizations such as the Cultural Advocacy Network of Michigan.
Travel is required, including evenings and weekends.
