Job Summary
The Executive Director serves as the chief visionary and strategic leader of KOOTASCA Community Action, driving its mission of “Building Community to End Poverty” while meeting thediverseneeds of the communities it serves. This role provides high-level oversight of programs, staff, budgets, and community partnerships to ensureimpactfuland sustainable service delivery. The Executive Director is responsible for fosteringinnovation, operational excellence, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as funding requirements.
Working in closecollaborationwith the Board of Directors, community stakeholders, and partner organizations, the Executive Director shapes and implements long-term strategies that empower low-income individuals and families, build communityresilience, and drive systemic change.
Compensation & Benefits
KOOTASCA Community Action offers acompetitive compensationandbenefits packagedesigned to attract and retain exceptionalleadershiptalent. While the starting salary will be determined prior to hiring, the range is $110,000 to $150,000 aligning with industry standards and regional benchmarks and will reflect the scope and importance of this role.
