The Board of Directors at Prairie Fusion Arts & Entertainment is seeking a new Executive Director. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with donors and grant writing, community outreach and reporting.
Our Organization:
Prairie Fusion Arts & Entertainment is dedicated to teaching, sharing and celebrating artistic expression for Portage and District through programs, performances, and exhibitions in a welcoming, supportive and community environment.
Core Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Board of Directors
Identifying, nurturing, and developing sources of revenue through grant writing and corporate sponsorship
Leadership and guidance
Administrative/Office Management and preparing budgets and financials to the board
Offer support to current staff
Ideal Candidate:
Energetic and enthusiastic individual with a passion for the arts/entertainment in the community
Understanding of business principles applied to a non-profit organization, with a demonstrated ability to plan, manage resources effectively and work to support staff in their duties.
Efficient in Microsoft Office with excellent oral and written communication skills and must be able to demonstrate effective organizational skills.
Keen business sense that inspires the team to achieve their best.

Hours:
per week, variable days, weekends and evenings as required
Salary: to be negotiated
Experience working in the arts and cultural fields & in a volunteer environment will be considered assets.
