Are you looking for a VOLUNTEER role that will help build your skills and provide a sense of purpose in your everyday life? We are looking for passionate, team players to serve and grow with our Executive Board Member Team.

ACCESS Youth Outreach Services Society is actively seeking Board Members with expertise in one of these areas; Human Resources, Marketing, Social Media, Communications, Brand Awareness, Legal, Fundraising, Sponsorship, and individuals who are well-connected in the communities of Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, or Coquitlam.

About Us

ACCESS Youth Outreach Services Society is a registered charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable and at-risk youth aged 12–23 in Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, and Coquitlam. We are a grassroots, community-driven organization delivering innovative programs that focus on prevention, intervention, and empowerment.

About the Role

This is a volunteer hybrid Board Member position. As a key leader in our organization, you will:

Participate in monthly Board meetings and strategic planning sessions

Serve on committees and contribute to organizational governance

Volunteer on our outreach bus or support public awareness events

Help raise program visibility through community engagement and networking

Support compliance with financial, legal, and ethical standards

We’re Looking for Individuals With Experience In:

Human Resources, Legal, and Risk Management

Marketing, Social Media, Public Relations, and Brand Awareness

Fundraising, Sponsorships, and Grant Applications

Strategic Planning and Financial Oversight

Youth Advocacy, Social Work, or Mental Health Services

Preference will be given to those with strong community ties in Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, or Coquitlam

Qualifications

Previous experience or interest in a nonprofit, Board, or leadership capacity

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A collaborative mindset and commitment to youth empowerment

Alignment with our core values of inclusion, social justice, and equity
