Position: Â Executive, Audience Development, Republic of
** THIS IS A 2-YEARS RENEWABLE / CONVERTIBLE CONTRACT ROLE.
** Responsibilities**:
Planning, conception and implementation of exhibitions, programmes including tours, artist residencies and school/corporate bookings centered around the Museum’s collections, exhibitions and events for a wide range of audiences.
– Allocation of resources for programmes and events
– Work collaboratively with colleagues on developing and implementing programmes for the Museum
– Develop a wide range of audiences for the Museum within the community while working closely with HQ marketing and development team.
– Support the working relationship with external stakeholders and partners
– Schedule, facilitate and coordinate administrative procedures, including budgeting
– Research on current trends on programming and themes both online and on-site platforms
– Carry out ongoing evaluation and analyse surveys from audiences
– Work closely with operation staff to prepare venues for programmes and events such as obtaining necessary clearances and maintenance of site
– Develop and implement a volunteer programme at the Museum for various volunteering opportunities.
– Manage SOPs for volunteers and to engage them in Museum programmes and events
** Job Requirement*
* – At least 2/3 years of direct experience working in events management/ programming, coaching/teaching/training experiences will be an advantage
– An interest and passion for Singapore history, museums and the local art scene
– Self-directed learner and problem solver who remains productive under pressure
– Highly proficient in spoken and written English, knows how to operate Microsoft Office Suite
– Good time management skills
