About The World You'd Be Joining
Daybreaker is a global morning events and community company that throws sober, judgment-free dance parties and gatherings around the world, built on the belief that community and joy are things you have to actively practice. Belong Center is Daybreaker's sister nonprofit, focused on tackling the loneliness epidemic and helping people build real connection in their lives. Belong Institute is Radha's teaching arm — a program that trains cohorts of community organizers, three times a year, in how to build belonging in their own cities and communities.
On top of that, Radha is publishing her first book, How to Make a Friend, in early October 2026; she speaks regularly at conferences and events; she's relaunching her podcast, The Social Revolution, in 2027; and she has a TV show in the works. Eli Clark-Davis works alongside her across much of this.
In short: this is a founder-operator household, not a single desk. The work moves fast, spans several organizations at once, and rarely looks the same two days in a row.
The Role
This is not a conventional EA role. It requires someone incredibly dynamic, sharp, and adept — someone who is comfortable wearing many hats and genuinely energized by variety rather than drained by it. Priorities can and will change at the drop of a dime, and the right person treats that as the nature of the job, not a disruption to it.
You will be a true partner across every part of Radha and Eli's world, providing A-to-Z support. That means functioning as operator, gatekeeper, project manager, travel director, and right hand — often all in the same afternoon. The best person for this role treats no task as beneath them and no problem as outside their lane; if something needs to get done and no one else owns it, you pick it up.
As a rough guide: the majority of your time will go toward directly supporting Radha and Eli's time, projects, travel, and home life, with the remainder spent on company-wide coordination, team communication, and special projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Support
- Own and manage the calendar end-to-end, including meetings, calls, creative blocks, and personal appointments
- Prepare daily and weekly agendas, with context on key priorities, people, and upcoming deliverables — not just a list of times
- Manage the inbox toward inbox zero: prioritizing, drafting, and sending replies on Radha and Eli's behalf where appropriate
- Track all follow-ups and action items from meetings and drive them to completion, not just log them
- Attend recurring team meetings and relay important updates, decisions, or requests directly back to Radha and Eli
- Keep a clean, organized digital environment — files, notes, links, and docs that are easy to find and use (e.g. a well-organized shared drive)
Daybreaker (Primary)
- Manage general team operations: mail, mailbox triage, and scheduling
- Serve as the liaison between Radha and the wider team, making sure information flows accurately in both directions
- Maintain broad situational awareness of what's happening across the company at all times
- Gatekeep and protect executive time — proactively guard the calendar against unnecessary meetings and scope creep
- Ensure executives are on time and fully prepared for every meeting, with the right materials and context
- Help prepare Radha and Eli for leadership meetings, ensuring they're briefed on context, priorities, and key decisions going in
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to keep schedules aligned across Daybreaker, Belong Institute, and Belong Center
- Support execution of company-wide initiatives as needed — from wellness festivals to Belong Institute launches
Belong Center (Sister Nonprofit)
- Liaise with the Belong Center team to keep initiatives, timelines, and deliverables on track
- Manage scheduling for Belong Center meetings and ensure follow-ups actually happen afterward
- Provide light project management support, scoped to whatever the initiative currently needs
- Stay current on ongoing initiatives, partnerships, and projects so you can speak to status at any moment
Belong Institute & Community Organization (Radha's Teaching Institute)
- Ensure Radha has every material she needs and is fully prepared ahead of each of the Institute's three annual cohorts of community organizers
- Work with the team to schedule lessons and confirm that setup and logistics are ready before each session begins
Project Management (Cross-Functional)
- Oversee timelines and deliverables across major initiatives — the book, Institute cohorts, and Daybreaker/Belong Center projects
- Maintain project trackers and deadlines, keeping progress visible and holding partners accountable
- Coordinate between creative, marketing, and production teams to keep projects moving
- Prepare short, regular progress updates and flag blockers early rather than after they've become problems
- Support content development and rollout for marketing campaigns, product launches, and public events
Radha's Book — How to Make a Friend (publishing early October 2026)
- Keep the publisher on track and provide regular status updates on marketing progress
- Support the drafting and production timeline for the book itself
- Ensure social posts related to the book are created and published on schedule
- Lead community outreach, including identifying and sending advance copies to key community organizers
- Own and manage execution across all launch-related workstreams, including post-publication marketing execution
Speaking, Travel & Public Engagements
- Build comprehensive, overly thorough travel itineraries for every engagement — down to timing, logistics, and contingencies
- Coordinate directly with event organizers and PR contacts for logistics, tech checks, and contracts
- Handle all travel logistics (flights, hotels, ground transport), including for family travel when relevant
- Track related expenses, submit reimbursements, and stay on top of speaking/travel budgets
- Be on standby for last-minute needs before, during, and after each event
- Make sure Radha has her speaking points and every piece of information she needs to walk in prepared
Podcast — "The Social Revolution" (resuming 2027)
- Coordinate guest speakers and manage all related logistics
- Oversee set setup and ensure all production elements come together smoothly
- Coordinate and schedule with Radha's co-host, keeping both sides aligned
TV Show
- Provide light liaising with the show's team as needed
Home, Family & Personal Support
- Manage household logistics across residences, including cleaners, vendors, maintenance, and repairs
- Coordinate childcare scheduling and after-school plans for Radha's 7-year-old
- Organize personal calendars for birthdays, anniversaries, and key family events
- Maintain a contact database for friends and family (names, addresses, important dates) and manage gift sourcing and shipping
- Take on ad hoc personal errands and home projects as needed
Communications & Relationship Management
- Draft, edit, and send emails, updates, and personal messages on Radha and Eli's behalf with warmth and accuracy
- Help maintain thoughtful, timely communication across their professional and personal relationships
- Maintain discretion and a high level of confidentiality in all written and verbal communication
Systems & Organization
- Keep shared systems (e.g. shared drive, project management tools, messaging platforms, calendars) clean, current, and logically structured
- Create simple SOPs or checklists for recurring processes to keep operations smooth and repeatable
- Track key renewals, subscriptions, vendor payments, and reminders so nothing lapses unnoticed
- Help maintain a sense of calm, focus, and order across a large number of moving parts
Requirements
What You Bring
- Proven experience as an EA, chief of staff, or in a similar role supporting a fast-moving executive, founder, or public figure. We're less focused on years of experience and more focused on whether you've operated well in exactly this kind of environment
- Exceptional organization and follow-through — nothing falls through the cracks on your watch, even when five things are moving at once
- Genuine comfort with ambiguity and last-minute change; you can reprioritize instantly without losing your footing or your composure
- Sharp written and verbal communication, with the judgment to represent Radha and Eli well in every interaction
- Discretion and trustworthiness — you'll be entrusted with sensitive personal, financial, and professional information and expected to handle it with care
- A genuine "whatever it takes" attitude, paired with the good judgment to know what actually matters versus what can wait
- The instinct to anticipate needs before being asked, and to close loops without being reminded — this is a love language for the people you'll be supporting
- Resilience, warmth, and a sense of humor — this role moves fast and things won't always go to plan
- Interest in or familiarity with events, media, publishing, or nonprofit work is a strong plus, given the range of the role
