About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Executive Assistant to support our leadership team. This role is pivotal in helping our directors stay focused, organized, and mission-driven as they guide the operations and growth of our centers. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, aligned with our values, and thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

This is a remote or hybrid position, with preference for candidates located in Florida or willing to work Eastern Time hours.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain calendars, meetings, and appointments for senior leaders

Coordinate internal and external meetings, including agendas, logistics, and follow-ups

Monitor and manage email communications, ensuring timely responses and prioritization

Assist in the preparation of documents, reports, and presentations

Support leadership in organizing projects, documentation, and planning

Coordinate travel arrangements and event planning as needed

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Liaise with internal teams, school directors, and external partners in a professional and faith-aligned manner

Requirements

2+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant, Virtual Assistant, or senior administrative role

Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail

Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar), Zoom, and task management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities with grace and professionalism

Self-starter with a heart for service and a passion for supporting purpose-driven work

Alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Neighborhood Kids

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting C-level executives or leadership teams

Familiarity with early childhood education or nonprofit organizations

Based in Florida or Eastern Time zone (preferred, not required)
