Events Planning Associate Jobs in Poughkeepsie, NY at Non-Profit Organization Poughkeepsie
The Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce and The Chamber Foundation, Inc. is seeking applications for the position of Events Associate, a member of the Chamber’s professional staff.
The Events Associate will help plan and execute a full calendar of events throughout the year, including recurring monthly events such as the Contact Breakfast and Business After Hours, regular business seminars and committee events, and signature community events such as the Annual Gala, the Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival, and The Chamber Foundation Golf Tournament. Responsibilities include contacting vendors, locations and sponsors, coordinating promotions with the Chamber’s Communications Department, and hands-on event logistics. Additionally, there will committee responsibilities, administrative tasks, and other duties as assigned.
To deliver our events, the position is full-time, in-person, and does require occasional evening, morning and weekend hours.
Qualified candidates should be well-versed in Microsoft Office programs, and able to work outside regular business hours as needed.
