Position:
Community Events
and Volunteer Manager
This key front-line fundraising team member acts as a liaison for community event organizers and volunteers. You will partner with Foundation and system colleagues to engage families in supporting Children’s Wisconsin through community events, including collaborating with the Grateful Family Philanthropy Officer, Volunteer and Affinity Group Officer, and broader Events Teams.
Your role includes developing engagement strategies to increase revenue and volunteer support, managing day-to-day operations of community events, and building a portfolio of events and volunteers. You will manage an annual revenue goal of $700,000+.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field and five years of events and volunteer management experience, or eight years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Proven success in meeting or exceeding event portfolio goals.
Initiative, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to sit, walk, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds during events.
