As an integral member of the Special Events & Promotions Department, you will report to the Manager, Events. You will oversee operational details of critical fundraising events, mentor participants, and cultivate relationships with partners and sponsors. Your strong communication skills and passion for the cause will enable you to enhance our events and drive engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement existing recognition programs for donors
• Serve as a fundraising coach for event participants
• Conduct tours for participants, donors, and sponsors
• Manage relationships with event stakeholders
• Track participant and donor data in Raiser’s Edge
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in fundraising or events
• 3–5 years of event management experience
• Experience with volunteer committees
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of youth homelessness issues
