In this summer position, you’ll work side by side with the Sales & Marketing Coordinator to support the mission of the South Island Farm Hub. Your duties will involve designing promotional materials, storytelling through social media engagement, and networking at farmers markets and community events. This role prioritizes a collaborative environment for addressing food equity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and distribute outreach materials for community programs
• Generate engaging social media content and newsletters
• Represent VCFHS at local markets and events
• Build connections with community members and local partners
• Utilize virtual platforms for impactful communication
Requirements:
• Must meet Canada Summer Jobs eligibility criteria
• Familiar with website design platforms (Wix/Squarespace)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with video filming and editing a plus
• Reliable vehicle and valid BC Driver’s License required
