Full Job Description

The Events Associate will work as a member of the Events Team. This position will positively represent NASB at events and maintain excellent relationships with NASB membership. The position will also assist in various aspects of the CRM database system. This is a part-time position that will consist of 16-20 hours per week. Hours during a work week will vary depending on the work available. Some of these hours may be required on evenings or weekends, depending on the events schedule.

1. Assist with CRM database entry as outlined by the Director of Member Engagement. Provide reports as needed.

2. Manage duties for events:

Manage communication with presenters to ensure materials and handouts for events, not associated with another department, are printed, organized, and sent to the events.

Ensure all materials are loaded and unloaded for events.

Administer evaluations after events. Review evaluations with Director of Member Engagement for improvements on future events.

Manage the calendar for all NASB Events and coordinate with all staff regarding staff expectations.

Maintain binder of Event mailers and programs.

3. Assist with the planning, organizing, and successful completion of Conferences and NASB workshops, as needed by the Director of Member Engagement

Negotiate, sign, and manage the venue contracts per direction from Director of Member Engagement.

Set up and open/close registrations in the CRM Portal.

Provide menu selections to Director of Member Engagement’s approval for each event.

Monitor registrations and adjust memberwide communications to encourage timely registrations.

Print and assemble badges for each event for participants and vendors.

Assist with onsite activities for events when required.

4. Assist Director of Member Engagement with coordination and execution of the State Education Conference.

Prepare documents for Conference planning committee.

Attend Conference planning meeting.

Setup and monitor registrations in CRM.

Mark proposals as accepted or declined in CRM.

Ensure all presenters are listed in CRM and receive points.

Comanage onsite activities.
