Description
Mychal’s Learning Place is committed to fulfilling the needs of the whole community and providing an accessible place for children, adults, and families to call home. Operating from two locations – a primary site in Hawthorne as well as an additional site in Culver City – Mychal’s Learning Place recognizes that by challenging children to succeed and having high expectations as they reach adulthood, we are empowering them to live independent, fulfilled, and productive lives.
We emphasize interactive and inclusive environments; learning activities that will transfer to life-long independent living skills, job skills necessary for gainful employment, self-respect and knowledge of individual strengths and empowerment through education.
