About The Role
As an Event Promotions Assistant at the MGN Foundation, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our fundraising events by assisting with event promotions, community outreach, and participant engagement. You will work closely with the events team to drive attendance and build awareness for events that support nonprofit causes. No experience? No problem! We offer comprehensive, hands-on training to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Logistics: Assist with preparation, setup, and breakdown of fundraising events, ensuring smooth operations
Promotion & Representation: Actively promote fundraising campaigns, distribute materials, and represent our nonprofit clients professionally at events
Engagement: Interact with event attendees, answer questions, and share key information about the cause and mission
Donation Management: Manage sign-ups, process donations, and collect attendee feedback accurately
Team Collaboration: Work with team members to meet event goals, deadlines, and ensure event success
Training & Development: Participate in training sessions to learn about event promotions, marketing, and fundraising strategies to enhance your skills
