Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Event Photographer to capture the energy, impact, and stories of Lifescore Foundation’s programs and events. From vibrant summer block parties and healing circles to youth workshops and job fairs, your work will help us visually document and promote our mission.
This is an excellent opportunity for a visual storyteller who is passionate about community engagement and looking to build a portfolio with meaningful, socially-driven work.

Key Responsibilities
Attend Lifescore Foundation events and capture dynamic, high-quality photos of activities, participants, speakers, and behind-the-scenes moments.
Take both candid and posed shots that reflect the impact, culture, and spirit of the organization.
Edit and deliver final images within 48–72 hours of each event.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure photos meet branding and storytelling needs for use in social media, reports, flyers, and promotional campaigns.
Organize and archive photo files in a shared cloud system for future access and use.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an event or lifestyle photographer.
Must submit a portfolio or visual curriculum showcasing past event photography work.
Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar.
Own and operate professional photography equipment.
Strong sense of composition, lighting, and attention to detail.
Ability to work in fast-paced, diverse environments.
Reliable transportation to attend events at various locations across Chicago.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Experience with nonprofit or community-based photography is a bonus
Passion for storytelling, equity, and youth empowerment
Compensation
$30–$40/hour based on experience and scope of the event. Additional compensation may be considered for special projects requiring extended editing or travel. This is a contract-based role, paid per event and deliverable.
