We are partnering with an amazing, mission-driven nonprofit that’s transforming lives through groundbreaking research and powerful community engagement — and they need a rockstar to join their team ASAP as a Temporary Manager, Development & Events!
This is a dream opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, passionate environment and wants to make a real impact while contributing to high-profile fundraising events, galas, and community initiatives. If they receive additional funding, this could even turn into a permanent role — but for now, it’s a temp assignment running through the end of November.
About the Role:
As the Manager, Development & Events, you’ll work closely with the leadership team to support dozens of incredible fundraising events—from major galas and community “friendraisers” to athletic campaigns and donor cultivation programs.
You’ll play a critical role in:
Coordinating event logistics: guest lists, travel arrangements, in-kind donations, gift bags, silent auctions, and more!
Helping to manage digital campaigns, marketing outreach, and donor communications
Maintaining calendars, inventories, and important collateral for 25+ annual events
Supporting all aspects of donor stewardship, reporting, and CRM data management
Ensuring seamless execution of mission-driven events that leave a lasting impact
✨ What We’re Looking For:
3–5 years of experience in events, fundraising, or project management (nonprofit experience strongly preferred)
Experience with Salesforce or another donor CRM (like Raiser’s Edge)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, and ideally tools like Classy, Adobe Creative Suite, and email marketing platforms
Incredible organizational skills and attention to detail
A proactive, positive attitude and a strong sense of ownership
Ability to work evenings or weekends occasionally for events
Passionate about making a difference and supporting a cause that truly matters
❤️ Why You’ll Love This:
You’ll join a mission-driven team that is truly changing lives every day
Work on exciting, high-impact events that raise millions for critical causes
Be part of a fast-moving, inspiring environment where your work really matters
Interview once, and you’re in!
This is more than a job — it’s a chance to contribute to something big.
