Verify insurance coverage and eligibility, collect co-pays, assist with insurance questions, and document all interactions.
Place patient armbands, notify staff of arrivals, and communicate during emergency codes.
Support efficient department operations through accurate recordkeeping and communication.
Qualifications & Skills: Post-secondary education in healthcare administration preferred; 0-2 years healthcare or customer service experience.
Strong communication, attention to detail, familiarity with EHR systems, and ability to handle sensitive info.
Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations and provide excellent customer service.
