Metropolitan Equestrian, a nationwide 501c3 non profit organization is seeking educated and motivated individuals to join their team in the Washington DC area to promote and instill quality equine and riding experiences for the community.
We are looking for a barn manager for daily oversight and operation of the facility.
Full Time
Responsibilities
Reporting to Director of Operations
Regularly participate in organization meetings and communication.
Supervising barn staff and trainers.
Managing the riding program
Some teaching may be required.
Maintaining inventory of feed and supplies.
Maintaining tack and facility equipment
Working with facility vendors
Dragging riding arenas
Requirements
Must be an experienced horseback rider.
Must have experience managing an equine facility
Must be able to lift over forty pounds.
Must be able and willing to teach riding lessons
Should know how to operate a tractor or must be willing to learn.
Must have a valid driver’s license
