In this entry-level position, the Promotional Marketing Assistant will leverage their enthusiastic personality and exceptional talent for engaging an audience to generate excitement and raise awareness for our charity partners in the Pleasanton area. The role also involves supporting the promotional marketing team by assisting with administrative, advertising, marketing, and sales tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and execute promotional events aimed at increasing awareness and driving donations for our charity partners
Set up promotional displays and visual merchandising at events to enhance visibility
Assist with the creation and distribution of promotional materials to support event goals
Participate in basic fundraising efforts to support nonprofit initiatives
Foster and maintain strong relationships with business partners, clients, and other stakeholders involved in marketing and advertising efforts
Requirements:
College degree in sales, marketing, advertising, or a related field is preferred, OR
1-2 years of experience in a sales promotion, marketing, or advertising role is beneficial. Internship experience and prior entry-level work will also be considered
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
Availability to work evenings and weekends for events and promotions as needed
Excellent time management skills and the ability to stay on track with deadlines
Passion for providing outstanding customer service to both clients and consumers
A positive, proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow in the role
