Job Summary
Teaching at an Alliance school is an opportunity to inspire transformational change for scholars and their communities while building lifelong, meaningful relationships. – Being a humanities teacher at Alliance involves developing deep learning partnerships with scholars, and facilitating learning that empowers scholars with a critical lens through which they’ll analyze and challenge the texts and ideas before them, therefore developing the intellectual curiosity to question the world around them and advocate on behalf of themselves and their communities. – We closely collaborate and work with ELD, Intervention, and SPED departments to ensure alignment between our courses. We have also focused on the Core 4 strategies across content areas to ensure we are designing accessible instruction.
