The International Women’s Resource Center is a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles, California – but also working across the US and Europe. IWRC is a community of learning, support and resources for refugees and immigrants.
We are looking for volunteers to provide ESL tutoring to our displaced participants. The schedule is flexible and pairs can meet online. Ideally, volunteers can commit to tutoring at least once per week, for three months.

IWRC is a space of support and community for refugee and immigrant women. Our spheres of focus are:
Adult BasicEducation, Health Literacy, Workforce Preparation, Family Literacy and Community Building. Each sphere intersects greatly, and if these spheres are addressed for women, the benefits do not end there – the benefits ripple throughout their families and communities.
