Engagement & Outreach Specialist

Hope starts here. Help people stop just getting by and start truly getting better.

Every day at MHC, individuals and families reach out because life feels overwhelming. Some contact us directly on their own. Others are referred by hospitals, schools, community partners, or their health plan. All of them want MHC to help.

Your voice becomes the turning point.

As an Engagement & Outreach Specialist, you help people understand their options, feel supported, and take the next step toward better health. You make the process simple, welcoming, and easy to navigate.

This role is ideal for someone who finds purpose in helping others, enjoys meaningful interactions, and brings steady, hopeful energy to fast-paced work.

Note: This is not a traditional customer service or inbound call-center role. It is a fast paced engagement role focused on calling individuals who asked for help through our website or whose doctor, school, or clinic referred them to us. Your work helps people take their first meaningful step toward getting better. Think of it as purposeful outreach built on empathy, clarity, and ethical influence.

This role is based on site at MHC’s Metro Center campus so you can do your best work with the support of a close, collaborative team. As part of the Business Development team, we move quickly, and being together allows you to get real-time coaching, encouragement, and answers so you never feel stuck or alone. You’ll learn faster, connect easily with your teammates, and work in an environment where everyone is focused on helping people get the care they deserve as quickly as possible.
