Base pay range
$45,000.00/yr – $55,000.00/yr
Position
Reporting to the Director of Programs, the Employment Coach will assist in administering One On One’s Employment Program by providing one-on-one employment coaching and case management services with the goal of helping participants find, prepare for, and retain long-term employment. The ideal candidate must be justice-driven, passionate about workforce development, willing to learn, and enthusiastic about working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

We focus on the individual by pairing job seekers with personal coaches throughout their job search. Participants also complete soft skills training to improve conflict resolution, communication, and decision-making skills. More info at
Responsibilities
Meet with clients for one-on-one sessions on employment topics such as resumes, applications, interviews, career planning, and soft skills development.
Create and oversee personalized employment plans.
Identify employment leads and refer clients to educational, training, or social services as needed.
Maintain referral resources and coordinate job placements with program staff.
Screen clients for job opportunities and prepare them for interviews or trial shifts.
Encourage clients to work on their job search outside coaching sessions.
Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure successful placements.
Community Outreach
Meet recruitment goals by engaging community partners and developing outreach strategies.
Build relationships with local employers to create ongoing employment opportunities for participants.
General
Duties
Accurately record all client interactions and report data regularly.
Participate in case conferences and adhere to policies.
Work on-site, remotely, or at partner sites; reliable transportation is required.
Qualifications
2+ years in workforce development or nonprofit service preferred.
Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field preferred.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
Experience with presentations, confidentiality, and proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Google Drive;
Salesforce a bonus.

Details
This full-time, in-person position reports to the Director of Programs. Benefits include paid holidays, medical/dental insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and paid office closure from Dec 24 to Jan 1. Must have reliable transportation to access multiple locations.
