Position Summary

The Employee Benefits Advisor plays a key role in supporting Washington Area New Automobile Dealers Association (WANADA) clients by delivering exceptional service and guidance on a wide range of employee benefit offerings. These include health, dental, vision, life, disability, and ancillary insurance products, as well as COBRA administration and fringe benefits such as Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA).

This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a commitment to service excellence, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

·        Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely and professional support via phone and email.

·        Process employee benefit enrollments, terminations, and changes using various platforms and internal systems.

·        Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for COBRA administration and other benefit programs.

·        Generate and analyze reports for internal use and client distribution.

·        Support the Vice President and Manager of Insurance with administrative and operational tasks.

·        Collaborate with WANADA staff on cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications

·        Ability to obtain a Health, Life, and Annuities license in the state of residence within a designated timeframe.

·        Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel.

·        Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·        Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

·        Professional demeanor, punctuality, and a positive, service-oriented attitude.

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
