Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and industrial settings, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. This role involves working on construction sites, performing installations, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems. The Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical work meets the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and is completed efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete electrical installations.
Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues.
Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper electrical layout during building projects.
Perform high voltage work safely while adhering to all safety regulations.
Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with NEC standards in all electrical work performed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
Skills
Proficient in using power tools and hand tools related to electrical work.
Strong knowledge of frame carpentry as it relates to electrical installations.
Experience as an industrial electrician is preferred.
Ability to work effectively on construction sites under varying conditions.
Familiarity with high voltage systems and safety protocols associated with them.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
