Role Description The Electrical Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bettiah. This role involves delivering practical and theoretical electrical training sessions to youth, following structured curricula aligned with industry standards. The Electrical Trainer will prepare lesson plans, training materials, and demonstrations, and will conduct assessments to track learner progress and provide feedback. The role includes maintaining a safe training environment, ensuring equipment is in proper working condition, and reinforcing electrical safety practices at all times. The Electrical Trainer will also collaborate with program staff to update training content, participate in community outreach when needed, and support learners in becoming job-ready.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Electricity and practical Electrical Maintenance skills.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Electrical Safety and safe work practices in training and lab environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Training delivery and Curriculum Development for electrical and vocational courses.
- Relevant technical qualification (e.g., ITI, diploma, or certification in electrical trades) and experience in teaching or industry is preferred.
- Ability to communicate concepts clearly to diverse learners, with strong classroom management and mentoring skills.
- Comfort working in on-site, resource-constrained environments and collaborating with NGO teams and community stakeholders.
- Basic computer skills for documentation, reporting, and use of digital learning tools are beneficial.
