The Education and Volunteer Coordinator position is a vital role within the Arizona Climate Resiliency Corps, specifically under the City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office. The coordinator will work closely with program managers to develop and implement outreach strategies that engage the community in service-learning opportunities, workshops, and events focused on sustainability and environmental awareness.
In this role, the coordinator will be responsible for planning and executing community events that promote environmental education and volunteerism. This includes collaborating with local partners to enhance program outreach and ensure that community members are informed and motivated to participate in sustainability efforts. Responsibilities

Requirements
Proficiency in using multi-media forms of communication such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Conference Calling.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Valid state driver’s license.
Experience working with or coordinating volunteers.
Nice-to-haves
Degree, college courses, or experience in environmental studies, horticulture, ecology, natural resources, or outdoor/environmental education.
Experience in volunteer recruitment and management.
