**Job Overview:**
Position Overview and Responsibilities:
Neighborhood Connections, a non-profit health and social service agency located in Londonderry, VT, is seeking a part-time driver for our transportation program, The Mountain Town Connector. Drivers use one of the agency’s vehicles or their own to provide transportation to riders for a wide range of services and appointments. The ideal candidate would also be capable of driving our 10-12 passenger wheelchair-accessible van.
This is a part-time position with variable hours. Position is for 2 days per week with an average of 10-20 hours per week. Hourly rate for this position is $20-23/hour depending on experience, plus mileage reimbursement when using one own’s vehicle.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Must have a current, valid driver’s license – CDL is not required
- Must have a dependable vehicle which is registered, insured, and fully operational
- Must have strong technological aptitude and enthusiasm for learning new systems
- Must be comfortable and confident while driving in winter weather conditions
- Must complete and clear a criminal background and DMV check
- Must be able to pass Drug & Alcohol testing, both pre-employment and in a random pool after employment begins.
- Applicant should live within 15 miles of Neighborhood Connections.
