Full Job Description
This position is responsible for the pickup and transportation of merchandise from donors and delivery of merchandise to customers when needed. This position also manages the flow of merchandise going in and out of the receiving area and pick up room.
Responsibilities
● Drive CGHFH vehicles to pick-up donated goods
● Safely pack all donations and return them to the Restore
● Unpack donations at store
● Oversee the flow of merchandise to ensure that donations get to the sales floor
● Communicating with the ReStore Manager and Donations Coordinator regarding incoming donations.
● Occasionally supervising volunteers
● Drive CGHFH vehicles to deliver purchased goods
● Maintain an effective working relationship with ReStore staff, volunteers, Habitat homeowners and ReStore customers.
● Responsible for daily safety checks and record keeping for all CGHFH ReStore vehicles
● Other duties as assigned by the ReStore Manager
Required Skills / Experience
● Must have a driver’s license and maintain a good driving record. CDL license not required.
● Must be a good listener and be able to engage in discussions about The ReStore with co-workers, donors and shoppers
● Ability to see the big picture and base decisions on what is best for CGHFH∙
● Ability to spend the majority of the day standing or moving about.
● Ability to lift 75 pounds
● Retail experience is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
